SADSAD is celebrated every year in Patron St. Day
of Saint Agustin at University of San Agustin One of the most capturing
and exciting event during the Patron Saints Day is the "Sad-Sad Festival Competition". The
students of the different departments are participating in the SADSAD
Competition to represent their departments. Every Department shows their very
energetic and joyful SADSAD Performances with the different story. SADSAD is known as “dancing”.
Every participants of this event formed themselves a line and
went on dancing while walking. It also called street dancing but this is also known as
"sad- sad". This is a difficult way of dancing because it requires
skills and talents as well as endurance to balance the performance to make it
organize and systematic for a long period of time.
Having a
celebration like Patron Saints Day is a very nice event to every student
because they can show their talent and at the same time know more about St.
Augustine. This event captured the students
to watch, and most of every group has different theme in there dances, students
prepared for this competition to represent their departments like accompanied
with music’s like drums, trumpets, cymbals etc. and costumes to make the "sad-sad" more colorful and cheerful.
